Welcome to Tottington High SchoolTransition to Secondary School
Welcome to your new school
This webpage is designed to help you move up from primary school to secondary school and to find out more about your new school, the adults who work here and what it is like to be a Tottington High School pupil. Parents and carers, there’s things here for you too!
We’ve put together a booklet for you to work through called ‘Getting Ready to Transfer to Tottington High School’. We’d really like you to work through the booklet over the summer holidays, because it will help you to settle in when you get here in September. However, some of it you won’t be able to complete until you start at Tottington High School. Click the red button below to download your booklet.
You can also have a look at our school website, our Facebook page (search facebook tottyhigh), our Twitter (@TottingtonHigh) and maybe speak to friends or family members who are already pupils here.
There’s also a section of this webpage for your parents or carers, and there’s a special booklet designed for them – because they might be feeling anxious about you moving up to secondary school too!
It’s totally okay to feel anxious about change and moving school is a big step, but remember all of the adults at school are here to help and we can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to Tottington High!
