Vision for Education are running a writing competition across high schools in Greater Manchester, and there are prizes worth up to £250 up for grabs for the winners and runners-up.
The competition is called Pride of Manchester where they are asking students to write a short piece of writing about who they nominate to win the Pride of Manchester award. The writing should contain information as to why the person you are nominating should receive the award – this can be for excellence at school, something they have done in the community or a heroic act.
The winning nomination will receive a gift of their choice up to a value of £250 with 3 runners up prizes of £50.
Information about how to enter is explained in the poster below if you scroll down the page you will find the Nomination Form which you will need to fill in and hand in to the school office.
