We Are Tottington High School
our Mission & Values
We pledge, through respectful relationships, to ensure all members of our community are supported in taking responsibility for their own learning, to become ‘well-rounded’ and caring individuals, with the skills, attributes, qualifications and experiences to prepare them for their and our futures. We believe very much in our school motto of “Excellence through Partnership”. Thus, we expect our students to get involved in the life and work of the school and to maintain high standards of interpersonal relationships on which these partnerships develop and prosper.

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory. Full uniform must be worn in school and when journeying to and from school. When a student is admitted, it is on condition that parents accept our school uniform regulations, and therefore it is assumed that parents are willing to ensure that their child conforms to these in every respect.
Pay for your child’s school meals, school trips, ties, badges, revision guides and more via our payment systems.
Transport to and from school is of course the responsibility of parents/carers but we will endeavour to assist in any arrangements to ease with this issue. There are a number of school buses which travel to our school from the surrounding areas.
The House System
The purpose of the House system is to further promote community, partnership and participation in school. The House system aims to do this by providing House members with enjoyable and competitive House events and House activities. Such events/activities take the form of inter-House sporting competitions, House challenges and extra-curricular visits.
