Tottington High School

Educational Visits
At Tottington High School we are attempting to produce not only academically successful students, but students who are socially well-balanced, and who have acquired skills and habits that will enable them to fill their leisure time with worthwhile and rewarding activities.

All students stay at school for lunch, so lunchtime activities are provided including Music, ICT, Gymnastics, etc. These activities are often extended to meetings after school. We also believe in enriching and engaging educational experiences outside the classroom, ranging, for example, from skiing trips, camping in the Lake District, Science trips to France and a World War 1 Battlefield Trip. Students also participate in Football and Music/Orchestra trips to Europe.

The school is also ‘twinned’ with a German High school, the Gottlieb Daimler Realschule in Schorndorf and exchange visits are arranged annually. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
