Post Title: Teacher of Technology
Start Date: 1st September 2018

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Technology with drive and ambition to work in this successful faculty. The successful candidates will be expected to teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

We wish to employ a professional with knowledge and skills of teaching GCSE Product Design in Resistant Materials but who is also keen to investigate and develop a relevant Technical Award/Vocational course in this area in the next year or so to compliment our range of Technical Awards in other areas.

The salary for this post is Teacher’s Pay Grade £22,917 to £38,633 per annum.

Currently the Faculty offers; Technical Awards in Food & Cookery and also Child Development, GCSE Product Design in Textiles and Resistant Materials, as well as GCSE Art & Design. There are five staff within the Faculty currently. The post is suitable for an NQT and/or experienced teacher.

Tottington High School is a popular, forward looking 11-16 comprehensive school with a roll of approx. 900 students and total of 80+ staff. It is located on the north side of Bury in the village of Tottington, with easy access to motorways. Ofsted inspected the school in November 2015 and graded it as ‘Good’. Report available online.

  • opening the school in a morning

  • completing staff timesheets

Job Description:

Consultant Cleaners Ltd are currently seking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to carry out general cleaning duties at our client’s premises in the Bury area (Tottington High School).

  • General cleaning duties – mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mptying bins and cleaning toilets, offices and specified areas.
  • Ensuring excellent cleaning standards are achieved and maintained at all times.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times.
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
  • Maintaining a professional approach and appearance at all times.
