Parents’ Evenings Postponed

Parents’ Evenings Postponed

Dear parents and carers,

As you will be aware, we were scheduled to hold our parents’ evenings for Year 10 and Year 7 prior to the start of the Easter break. We have made the decision to postpone both of these evenings for the time being. I know that you will understand and we appreciate your collaboration as we work through what is a difficult time for us all.

With best wishes,

Mrs Yarwood

Dear parents and carers,

As concerns about the Coronavirus escalate, it is inevitable that this causes some anxiety for all. I would like to reassure you that as a school, we are following the guidance of the government and Public Health England to the letter. We will do all that we can to maintain the smooth running of the school. As any further information is issued, we will of course update you.

The Department for Education has set up a helpline for educational settings and the details of this are below. This helpline is available to staff, parents and young people as a source of advice. The details of this can also be found on our school website.

Coronavirus Advice Update

Dear parents and carers,

I am writing regarding the advice given by Public Health England in relation to the Corona virus. As you may be aware, the advice has recently been updated and I attach a letter which we have received advising self-quarantine for anyone who has travelled to specific areas.

Please read the attached letter and if your child is affected, please contact school.

If you have recently been abroad, please check the information for travellers relating to novel coronavirus at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-public on a daily basis for 14 days after your return, and follow the relevant advice.

This information on the website is updated daily to reflect the changing situation. More countries may be added as the situation evolves which is why it is important to continue to check it until the recommended 14 day period has passed.

Yours sincerely,

Julie Yarwood
Headteacher
