We understand that you will be uncertain about your exams and worried about your next step but Connexions is still here to help and support you, even though we are working in a different way.
Our helpline is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.00pm for young people aged 14-18yrs (25yrs for those with special educational needs).
Our friendly team of advisers can offer you information, advice and guidance, not just about careers, but any questions about other matters like finance, college applications or just to talk to someone about your situation and how to cope.
If we can’t answer your question, we will put you in touch with the right people who can give you the support you need.
How to contact us:
Young People’s Helpline: 0161 253 7733 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
If the line is busy, please leave your name, telephone number and a message and someone will get back to you.
We are here to help and just listen if you want to talk.
I am writing to let you know that the 14-19 Team and Connexions are working together to help and offer practical support to Year 11 pupils during this difficult time of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Understandably, Year 11 pupils and their parents will be worried about their GCSEs and their progression, and we would like to offer our support to any Year 11 pupils. We have a young-person’s help line which will be open from 10.00 – 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. The number is 0161 253 7733.
There will be someone for them to talk to them, offer support and try to answer any queries or anxieties they have. If they need specialist support they will be signposted to the right organisation. We will help in any way we can. We appreciate that it’s difficult for some young people to share their worries with family, especially if the family has other pressures. Similarly parents/carers can telephone too.
