On Tuesday 12th April, student representatives from the Echo team, The Student council and The Eco team were invited to have lunch at Frankie and Benny’s as a reward and a thank you for all their hard work.

All year round our student reps are working tirelessly behind the scenes, attending meetings (often in their own free time), completing some of the less desirable tasks (like picking up your litter!) and they make sure your student voice is heard. They come in over weekends to help with FROTHS events, prepare and deliver assemblies and do a lot of tasks at home (and that’s on top of their homework!). To that end, we thought it was only right that these students had a nice afternoon out of school.

All of these students were an absolute credit to our school whilst out and about in Bury. They were polite to members of the public (Harrison King very kindly offered his seat on the bus to an elderly lady) and their behaviour was commended by the staff at Frankie and Benny’s.

If you have yet to get involved in one of our student bodies, applications will be going out next half term, so have a think about whether you would like to be involved in one of our great teams.
