By Sam Armstead, Head Boy, and Milly Upton, Head Girl

As most of you will know, our school was recently inspected by Ofsted. During their time at our school, they observed a variety of lessons, talked to the caring, committed teachers and the eager, hardworking students. They toured the buildings and commented how the facilities of the school are improving. Once again, they concluded that THS is a “good” school which continues to develop and improve!

Both of us have massively enjoyed the past 5 years at Tottington. The teachers encourage students to be proud of the work we do, and make lessons fun as well as interesting and beneficial. Throughout the years, both of us, as well as many others, have made huge progress both academically and personally, and the safe and caring environment of THS has given us the foundations to become great people.

The two of us are proud of our school because the staff try to bring out the very best of everyone, and show us our full potential and how we can reach it. We’re glad glad to be part of the Student Leadership Team as it has opened many opportunities for us, and made us recognisable and therefore approachable, so we can communicate with everybody around school and represent the student body.
